Buckeye Approves Controversial New Housing Community

Buckeye city officials have recently approved the construction of a new master-planned community called North Star Ranch. The development will hold 9,668 homes, three elementary schools, and one high school upon completion. However, the project has faced some opposition from residents who expressed concerns about water supply, traffic congestion, and crime. The city council meeting held last month addressed these concerns, resulting in some amendments. Nevertheless, there are still some crucial details to be determined by the developer and homebuilder with the approval of The Planning and Zoning Commission, such as the size of the houses and the water supply.
