Rents are Dropping Across Arizona

According to Zumper’s February rent report for 2024, rent rates in Scottsdale and Glendale have significantly decreased. In Scottsdale, the cost of renting a one-bedroom apartment has dropped by 14 percent to an average of $1,680, while a two-bedroom rental has dropped by 18 percent to an average of $2,200. In Glendale, the average cost of renting a one-bedroom apartment has decreased by 9 percent to $1,220, while a two-bedroom apartment has dropped by 13 percent to $1,450. The report attributes the drop in rent prices to an increase in new housing supply and construction in the Western United States.
