Governor Katie Hobbs and other Phoenix-area leaders praise the opening of new affordable housing units in Phoenix, located near 31st Avenue and Thunderbird Road. The development, called The Reserve at Thunderbird, comprises 108 three- and four-bedroom apartments designed to accommodate mixed-income families and offer permanent supportive housing. Funding for the project includes contributions from housing trust funds, tax credit equity from the Arizona Department of Housing, $1 million in HOME funds from the city of Phoenix, $1 million in AHCCCS Housing Trust Funds, and GAP financing from the developer.
