HUD’s Green Program Allocates Major Funding to Phoenix Apartment Complex

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has allocated a $9.12 million loan to Urban League Manor Apartments through its Green and Resilient Retrofit Program (GRRP). This funding will support extensive upgrades including energy-efficient windows, solar power systems, insulation upgrades, and smart building technologies. These improvements aim to reduce energy consumption, lower utility costs, and enhance sustainability. Urban League Manor is Arizona’s sole recipient of this HUD assistance.
