One Scottsdale, a $1 billion mixed-use development across 120 acres in north Scottsdale, is asking for approval to add 500 more residential units (in addition to 1,250 planned) and to slash mostly office space by roughly 1.3 million square feet. A mix of condos and apartments are already in the works, but DMB Associates Inc. cited changing market dynamics and a desire to add a “lifestyle” component to its project.
