R&M Towing was founded in 2008 with a commitment to serve Arizona’s multihousing communities with integrity, reliability and accountability.
In 2017, owner Claudia Porter started something small but powerful: packing 25 backpacks with school supplies and distributing them from her own home.
That small act of service became the beginning of We Keep Rising.
What makes this story unique is that it is built on family. Claudia’s husband, sisters, children and extended family are actively involved in the business and volunteer efforts. Whether coordinating logistics, helping pack backpacks, delivering Thanksgiving boxes or distributing toys during the holidays, service is not just part of the company culture — it is part of their family culture.
As R&M Towing grew within the multihousing industry, so did We Keep Rising. And 2025 marked a major year of impact.
Through partnerships with apartment communities, property management teams, vendors and supporters across Arizona, R&M Towing and We Keep Rising accomplished:
- 1,500 Backpacks Distributed: Supporting multiple schools and districts across the Phoenix metro area — ensuring students started the school year confident and prepared.
- 550 Thanksgiving Food Boxes Delivered: Providing full holiday meals to families living within multihousing communities and easing financial stress during the holiday season.
- Over 1,400 Toys Donated: Bringing joy to children and supporting working families during the holidays.
From donating 25 backpacks in 2017 to serving thousands of families in 2025, the growth reflects both community need and industry partnership.
R&M Towing is known throughout Arizona’s multihousing industry as a trusted operational partner. But in 2025, the company demonstrated something more: Vendors can lead with service.
