Build-to-rent continues its hot streak in Phoenix with Tavalo at Asante slated to bring 282 single-family duplex and detached homes to north Surprise as part of a $250 million mixed-use, master-planned community. In a joint venture, GTIS Partners and Clyde Capital acquired 90 acres for the project and sold 20 of them to HonorHealth for a medical facility. The former owner had plans to build a large-scale regional power center on the parcel, but the partners worked closely with various city entities and neighbors to get approval for this plan.
