Construction has started on The Ellison, a 380-unit luxury apartment community that will anchor The District Downtown, a 45-acre mixed-use development at Arizona and Pecos Avenues in downtown Chandler. The project features studio through three-bedroom units with resort-style amenities and desert-inspired architecture. Leasing is expected to begin in 2028. The development is the first phase of a larger master-planned district that will include two hotels, retail space and restaurants.
