Maricopa County has officially launched its Eviction Prevention Pilot Program, providing up to $3,200 in one-time rental assistance per household to residents in four high-eviction Phoenix ZIP codes facing temporary financial hardship. The $800,000 program, administered by HOM Inc. and partnered with the City of Phoenix, requires rental owners to agree that the payment fully satisfies all rental arrears before funds are disbursed. If the pilot proves successful, the county plans to expand it to other parts of the Valley.
