Phoenix multifamily asking rents fell 0.1% in both May and June. About 70% of apartments are now offering some form of concession — the highest level since at least 2020 — with four to eight weeks of free rent common and some new buildings offering 10 weeks or more. Analysts expect a fourth consecutive year of negative rent growth.
