Metro Phoenix is finally adding housing faster than the population is growing, according to a new Axios analysis of Census data. But experts caution the balance will be short-lived as multifamily construction slows and population growth accelerates again. Despite the recent boom, housing prices are unlikely to drop significantly since the region remains behind on long-term supply.
