Phoenix leads the country in construction job growth, supported by major new developments and strong housing demand, according to a report from Astrak. Construction spending is expected to reach $2.2 trillion this year, a 2% increase from 2024. With competitive wages and high permitting activity, the region offers favorable conditions for construction workers, the report said.
