More than 1,500 apartment units are in the pipeline in metro Phoenix through office building conversion projects, ranking it 13th in the U.S. for adaptive reuse activity. Nationally, the office-to-apartment conversion pipeline reached 90,300 units at the start of 2026, up 28% from the prior year and nearly four times the volume seen in 2022.
