A new Zumper report finds Scottsdale has the highest apartment rents in Arizona, with one-bedroom units averaging $1,770 per month, well above the statewide median. Zumper attributes the elevated rents to a tight supply — active listings in Scottsdale are down 24% from 2024 — driven by limited land for large-scale multifamily development. Only three new apartment permits have been filed in the city since January.
