Scottsdale is holding open houses to address a recently revised state law requiring cities to ease restrictions on converting commercial properties into apartments. After previously sidestepping some 2024 housing mandates, Scottsdale must now update its code to comply with stricter state rules passed this year to encourage more multifamily construction and ease the housing crisis.
