A new report from Tempe-based BatchData reveals that small landlords, not major corporations, own most investor-held single-family homes in the U.S. The study shows that 90% of investors hold 11 or fewer properties, helping stabilize the market as traditional buyers face high mortgage rates and limited affordability.
