The Surprise Planning and Zoning Commission will review updates to city code aligning with new state laws that make it easier to turn outdated commercial buildings into multifamily housing. The changes stem from recent legislation signed by Gov. Katie Hobbs and supported by AMA that expands Arizona’s adaptive reuse program.
