Tempe is moving on up, at least when it comes to building apartments. Its city council approved mixed-use projects that will provide 189 units in a seven-story building called The Marshall on Apache Boulevard and 281 units in a 27-story tower called Skye Tempe on Myrtle Avenue which will be one of the tallest buildings in the city. City Council also held public hearings on three more developments that could bring more than 1,000 additional units to market.
