A new analysis from the Center for the Future of Arizona and Rounds Consulting Group finds that addressing housing affordability could inject $6.9 billion into Arizona’s economy, create 126,400 jobs, and generate nearly $600 million in new tax revenue annually. The report shows that 84% of voters say rental prices are too high and 78% want more affordable housing in their own communities — a rare bipartisan consensus. The findings make a strong economic case that affordable housing not only stabilizes families but strengthens the entire state’s financial future.
