Two new gated build-to-rent townhome communities totaling 152 units have opened about two miles apart in south Phoenix, with two- and three-bedroom homes starting around $2,000 per month and leasing incentives of up to three months free rent available on some leases. The Corsica Villas developments at 20th Street and at Euclid and 7th Street feature garages, covered parking, front yards, dog parks, and outdoor dining areas. Developer Rockefeller Group says south Phoenix has become one of metro Phoenix’s most active growth markets, fueled by light rail expansion and rising interest from homebuyers, renters, and retailers.
