A 229-unit apartment complex called Cabana Kyrene is under construction on a nearly 8-acre vacant lot at the southwest corner of Guadalupe and Kyrene roads in south Tempe, marking the area’s first workforce housing development. The project will feature studios, one-, and two-bedroom units across six three-story buildings, with rents expected to range from $1,400 to $1,600 per month. Construction is on track for completion in September 2026.
